Menopause is natural process in women in their early 50 years. In menopause, the hormones change their level to readjust. Some of people or society understood that, the power or wisdom in women increases during this period. In modern society, menopause is considered to be as aging of the related woman. In menopause, woman's period stops for one year. If this process is stopped for more than one year, she becomes post-menopausal. During this period, woman undergoes the problems like depression, anxiety, hair loss, heart palpitations, and memory loss for short term, hot flashes, and change in sex drive, acne and over weight. Menopausal weight also increases the risk of diabetes, heart disease and some problems related to breast cancer.

Over weight is the common and serious problem in women. Because of hormonal changes, the problem of overweight occurs. The average women in her adult age, gains 1to 1 ½ pounds a year and 40 plus pounds by her 50's, if she doesn't fight with stress, muscles and the roller coaster of hormones. The muscles need to burn fat because it plays important role in carrying oxygen. If it is not happened, you will face to law energy and sagging metabolism. So it is important to eat food containing rich iron. You must take lean red meat, oily fish, chicken according to your requirement and weight. During this period, level of oestrogen drops which causes to bone loss.

Women, with menopause gains weight rapidly, mostly around the waist, which causes to loose figure and some diseases.
