"Over weight", is the serious problem to these days. There are many reasons for over weight, like lack of exercise, wrong eating habits, junk food or fast food etc. Having a healthy diet is one of the important things. Overweight brings various health problems with it. It increases diseases like diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke, breathing problems, arthritis, sleep apnea, osteoarthritis and some cancers.

All age group have to face the problem of overweight. Overweight is calculated by figuring out your body mass index, which in short called as BMI. Woman having BMI in between 25 to 29.9 are considered to be overweight. All adults having BMI 25 or more than that are at risk of premature death, and this problem increase as the BMI rises. To avoid these all problems, we need to consult to dietitian or health care provider. He or she will help you to figure out your body mass and maintain it in proper proportion.

With some precautions, care or exercise, you can maintain your weight and keep you feet and healthy. Diet is easier way for it. Because of fast moving life, we are ignoring nutritious food or home made food. Today, the new generation and adults are interested in fast food or junk food. This type of food contains large amount of fat, oil which causes to overweight. We need nutritious food, which fulfills our requirements of proteins, vitamins, carbohydrates, zinc, iron etc. Loss of weight, specifically involves the loss of fat, muscles, and water.

We have to take diet food for the purpose of dieting to reduce our overweight. Salad is the perfect food for dieting. It is nutritious and healthy food, which keeps us healthy and help to maintain weighting. We may take raw vegetables like tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, cucumber, celery, radishes etc. To maintain cholesterol is very important because, it causes to lead the hearty dieses. Also, we have to avoid the saturated food which is found in food from animals like beef, veal, lamb poultry, milk, butter, and whole diary products etc. The right proportion of oil is also important. To maintain it, avoid too much use of oil, especially, plant oil.

The problem of overweight in children is very dangerous and can follow in their adult years. So encourage them for healthy eating habits. Take healthy food together as a family, which helps to your children, to enjoy the variety of food. Eat fast food in less quantity. Break fast is important because skipping breakfast can leave your child hungry, tired. Avoid them from foods like soft drinks, snacks, chips, cookies, candy etc. Instead of these, you may try healthy snack food graham crackers, law fat vanilla, reduced fat cheese, wheat crackers, and small number of dried fruits. Use of fruits, vegetables like cucumber, carrots, tomatoes etc is necessary for good health.

With healthy food, exercise is very important to keep us fit. It helps to reduce weight. Exercises like walking, running, swimming, dancing will help you to reduce your extra weight. Minimum 30 minutes exercise is necessary to maintain weight. Also, you may consult to dietitian to control over weight. Avoid drinking plenty of water.
