The diabetes person needs to avoid the food containing sugar, however, most of can eat it as the level of their sugar or carbohydrates they have. The proportion of sodium is important and now the food labels also list how much sodium is in food. Salt is not good for diabetics having hypertension. If you have hypertension, you must have to check, how much sodium in your food is. It's easy to go on sodium, if you have no hypertension. Blood containing fat in large amount is very dangerous to develop heart disease, especially; peoples with diabetes are at greater risk. The diabetics have to take meal with good balance of nutrition and taste. Avoid meats like chicken and beef, to avid the 10 to 20% of the calories. 25 to 30% calories comes from fat, so avoid the food containing fat. Green vegetables and orange vegetable are most important in your daily meal. It gives 50 to 60% of calories. Choose food like carrots, brown rice, sweet potatoes.

Instead of this, you have to take some precautions and have to plan your meal. Eat the same amount of food every day. Your meal time should be same for each day. Be careful about your medicine and daily exercise. Your food group must contain vegetables, starch, fruits and milk and it depends on the amount of calories required for you per day. Regular check up of blood glucose is most important.
