The Zone Diet Plan
The Zone Diet is one of today's most popular because of the precision it allows when aiming for an optimal diet. The key is moderating insulin levels through a diet designed to keep them within a certain zone. As a result, you'll feel less hungry and more energized. Also in addition you will be losing excess body fat.
The Zone Diet Rules:
Some of the rules to be remembered by the followers of The Zone Diet Plan. The rules to be remembered are:
- Make sure every meal and snack has the right combination of low-fat protein, favorable carbohydrates (like vegetables and fruit), and a dash of "good" fat.
- Always eat a Zone meal within one hour of waking.
- Eat at least five times a day: three Zone meals and two Zone snacks.
- Never let more than five hours go by without eating a Zone meal or snack, even if you're not hungry.
- Use fruits and vegetables for the bulk of your carbohydrate calories - with bread, pasta, grains, and other starches used primarily as condiments.
- Drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water every day.
- If you make a mistake, don't worry. Just get back on track with your next meal.
